UMe Credit Union was founded in 1940 by a small group of Burbank teachers who believed in something powerful: that by coming together, they could create something better. That spirit still drives us today. We’ve grown a lot since then—but we’re still proudly local, fiercely member-focused, and deeply committed to helping our community thrive.

At UMe, we’re not a big bank—and we don’t want to be. We’re a not-for-profit credit union owned by the people we serve. That means U come first in everything we do. From lower fees to better rates and friendlier service, we’re here to help U make the most of your money ( and actually enjoy the process ).

We offer all the modern banking services you’d expect—from checking accounts and car loans to credit cards and home financing—but with a twist: we’re real people who really care. We consider ourselves helpers more than bankers, and we work hard to create a space where our members feel seen, supported, and genuinely valued.
